SupportSorted 2024 wrapped Update #4
Exciting new partnership, gearing up to raise and expanding the team
TLDR:
We are seeking advice from investors.
Running a pilot with Care Squared, one of Australia’s largest disability support providers, involving ~100 of their professionals.
Launching a pilot for support coordinators to refine our platform and generate sustainable volume of incoming referrals.
Welcome to Christopher Hoang, our new Head of Growth!
The Ask:
Health Tech Angels: Know someone with health tech investment experience and network? Introduce us please (lukas@supportsorted.com).
Support Coordinators (SC’s): We’re recruiting a few more SC’s for a pilot. Please reach out if you know someone who’d love more clients for their own caseload as well as making their job easier.
Seasons Greetings from SupportSorted
Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season from all of us at SupportSorted! As 2024 comes to a close, we want to reflect on our milestones and share our vision for the year ahead. Your support has been instrumental in our progress, and we’re excited to continue this journey with you.
Key Updates:
1. Pilot with Care Squared:
We’ve partnered with Care Squared, one of the largest disability support providers in Australia, for a pilot running until March 2025. This collaboration includes:
Listing ~100 of their professionals on our platform.
Weekly updates from Care Squared on availability and tailored feedback.
Integrating their onboarding process to ensure high-quality referrals.
2. Growth Plans for 2025:
We’re seeking advice from investors. We’re at the stage now that when we sprinkle a little extra marketing budget on our solution, we get an increase in referrals. We’d love to see what this looks like if we really pour fuel on the fire! If this sounds like you or someone you know, let’s talk!
3. Team Expansion:
We’re thrilled to welcome Christopher Hoang as our new Head of Growth. Chris founded VC backed startup Edapt, an EdTech startup, and brings a wealth of experience in marketing and customer relationships. His leadership will help us expand our reach and refine our offerings.
4. Website Performance:
15,000+ visitors since launch.
1,500+ professional profile views.
150+ enquiries sent through our platform.
5. Support Coordinator Pilot:
Support coordinators, who help guide individuals through the NDIS, love our platform! We’re launching a pilot with select coordinators, running for 90 days. This test will be great for those SC’s as it will involve putting those select SC’s on our platform so participants can find them and request to work together. It will be a win-win too as this will provide SupportSorted with extremely valuable feedback and will generate a sustained volume of incoming referrals that we can match with listed therapy providers. If you know a support coordinator who might be interested, we’d love an introduction.
6. Tech updates:
We’ve launched an onboarding portal for providers to sign up and create a profile for themselves. This allows us to send new referrals directly through, thus reducing our operational burden. It’s only been life for a couple of weeks but we’ve had more than 100 sign ups and profiles created already!
On top of the Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists, we’re recently added Councillors, Behaviour Support Professionals, Allied Health Assistants, Physiotherapists and more.
Looking Ahead:
With 2025 on the horizon, we’re super excited by the opportunities ahead. Thank you for believing in our mission and being part of this journey.
Warm wishes for the holiday season,
Sam, Lukas and Chris
